Removal Terms and Conditions

To request device removal, please thoroughly review the Removal Terms and Conditions below and check the box to complete the device removal request.

By requesting RoadGuard Interlock Ignition Interlock Device (“IID”) removal and checking the box below, I, the RoadGuard Interlock client, acknowledge and agree that I have read, understood, and agree to be bound by and comply with all of the following:

I understand that to successfully complete my IID program (“program”), I must be in full compliance with all program requirements of RoadGuard Interlock and the agency, entity, court, authority, statute, or regulation that required my participation in the program.

I understand that program violations can extend the amount of time that I must keep the IID installed in my vehicle.

I understand that some agencies, entities, courts, or authorities will send me documentation confirming my eligibility to remove the IID, while others may require me to request the documentation, and I may be required to provide such documentation to RoadGuard Interlock prior to scheduling removal of the IID. I understand providing this documentation to RoadGuard Interlock is solely my responsibility. The agency, entity, court, or authority should be able to help me in this regard.

Should I request removal of the IID without completing the program successfully and/or submitting the appropriate removal authorization, I understand that RoadGuard Interlock is not responsible for early termination of the program and I take complete responsibility for any consequences of unauthorized IID removal, including, but not limited to, an installation fee if IID reinstallation is required.

Prior to scheduling removal of the IID, I agree to pay RoadGuard Interlock and an authorized representative or contractor the fees and charges associated with removal plus any outstanding balances owed. If I request RoadGuard Interlock dispatch a technician to remove or retrieve the IID at a location other than a RoadGuard Interlock service center, I acknowledge that additional service fees will apply which will vary based on distance, location, accessibility, and service complexity and these fees are not eligible for discounts, credits, or payment arrangements and must be paid in full prior to scheduling the remote retrieval.
